What we collect
The only information this website asks you for is what you type into the estimate request form: your name, phone number, email address, the service you are asking about, and an optional description of your project. Nothing on this site asks for payment details, and we do not ask for any information beyond what we need to call you back about the work.
Like most websites, our web host keeps standard server logs of requests, which include IP addresses. Those are kept by the host for security and troubleshooting.
Why we collect it and how long we keep it
We use what you send us to prepare your estimate, to contact you about your project, and to keep a record of work we have quoted or carried out. We do not sell it, rent it, or trade it, and we do not use it to advertise to you.
Estimate requests are stored in this website’s own database and are kept as part of our business records. If you would like your enquiry deleted, contact us and we will remove it.
Who else sees it
Your enquiry goes to us. We share it outside the company only where we have to in order to do the work or run the business: for example a permitting authority when your job requires a permit, or the companies that host this website and carry our email. Those companies handle the data on our behalf. We will also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies when you browse it, and it does not run advertising trackers, analytics profiling, or third-party marketing pixels.
There is one exception worth naming. Our contact page embeds a Google map so you can find the shop. Loading that page contacts Google’s servers, and Google may set cookies or collect data through it under their own privacy policy, which we do not control. If you would rather not load it, you can use the address above in any map application instead.
Children
This site is intended for adults arranging work on their property. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details above and we will deal with it. There is no account to close and no mailing list to unsubscribe from, because we do not run one.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection and enquiries are stored on our own hosting. No website can promise perfect security, but we keep the number of places your information travels through as small as we reasonably can.
Changes
If we change how this site handles information, we will update this page and change the date below.
